What is psycho-social safety and Respect@Work?

  • "Not walking past the standards you don't accept"

In this session, Peta will teach participants how to actively and safely intervene in awkward situations and interactions in the workplace. These sessions will reinforce the Respect@Work workplace policy and legislation that is now an employer requirement.

  • Creating trauma informed and responsive workplaces

During this training, participants will develop understanding and skills of how individuals can be more trauma informed and responsive to the needs and experiences of others in both the workplace and community. Managing, responding and intervening in trauma is a psycho-social hazard that requires organisations to be more skilled up in order to comply with the new legislation.

  • Talking the Talk

In this training, participants will learn how to communicate safely and accurately about mental illness, suicide, sexual violence, gender equality and diversity, body image and domestic n family violence. Resources and strategies will be discussed and provided to attendees.
