Meet Peta Dampney

Director - Principal Trainer and Consultant.

Peta is more than just a trainer and consultant. She is also a former high school teacher, professional theatre arts worker, tour manager, health consumer engagement specialist and film reviewer.

From Me to You brings together all of Peta’s skills, experience and insight working across a variety of industries and environments. Since launching From Me to You in 2016, Peta has contributed to the development of national suicide prevention programs, presented at national conferences and has appeared on the likes of The Project on Channel 10, The Feed on SBS and has been a regular guest on radio shows and podcasts. Peta has also written for print media and has also directly contributed to resources in suicide prevention and mental health. She has also coordinated national health consumer engagement projects and developed training for both staff and students at the University of Queensland.

Peta’s core value is communicating a sense of joy in all that she does. She is is known and respected in the mental health and suicide prevention sector for her down to earth nature, her sense of humour and ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.

From Me to You has been privileged to work with a variety of organisations throughout Australia. A number of not for profit organisations, schools and workplaces have chosen From Me to You as their sole provider of both MHFA and wellbeing courses.
