Blended Courses (Combination of e-learning and instructor led component)

Delivered both face to face and online.

Designed for increased flexibility, Mental Health First Aid courses can be delivered in a blended mode. This includes a combination of online (eLearning) and an Instructor-led component which can be delivered either via face-to-face or via an online workshop.

Course participants first complete the interactive self-paced eLearning component that teaches them about mental health problems, mental health crises, and skills to offer initial help to an adult developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. The follow-on Instructor-led sessions delivered as either a face-to-face or online workshop allows participants the opportunity to revise and consolidate knowledge and skills in a group environment, and to apply their skills to specific scenarios. The second Instructor-led course component of any Blended Mental Health First Aid course must be completed within 3 months of completing the initial eLearning component.
